Warning to Simi Valley Residents: Experience with Attorney Stephanie White (Bar #250725) I want to share my experience to prevent others from falling victim to poor legal representation. I retained Attorney Stephanie White to handle the completion of a QDRO following my divorce. Despite paying her $3,113.63, she failed to complete the necessary documents in a timely and competent manner. On top of that, I continue to receive bills from her totaling $4,600, despite her failure to provide the services. Her handling of my case forced me to hire additional counsel at a cost of $1,200 to correct her mistakes. Stephanie White appears to take advantage of clients during difficult times. I have filed a formal complaint with the California State Bar. If you are considering hiring her, please proceed with extreme caution.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
