I visited him at his office for a consultation, and he was rude, condescending, and treated me like I was wasting his time. I presented him with an "easily winnable" landlord/tenant case, I being the tenant, and he just scoffed at it and told me there was nothing there. I told him that he was unprofessional and a complete waste of my time, and got up to leave. He smugly told me "that at least I got good legal advice". I pointed out the error in his advice and I sarcastically retorted, "that's what you consider good legal advice"? I left his office, contacted another attorney, who immediately recognized my reason for pursuing litigation, and he won a judgement for me for over $16,000.00! I'm so glad that I did not take the "legal advice" of Benjamin Ybarra, he's a joke.
