Zipin was recently disciplined by the DC bar counsel for incompetence, conflict of interest and overcharging while representing a 91 year-old blind, bedridden widow. https://www.dcbar.org/attorney-discipline/disciplinary-decisions/discipline02.cfm ... Our experience with him was even worse, and his malpractice carrier settled our claim. After we parted ways several years ago, I found many of his "positive" reviews came from his own associates or their families. He also posted judge's "praise" for him, which is an unethical rules violation, even if true. He's probably toned that down now, but imo, he's still a danger to the public.
