Mr. Schimpf is professional, prepared, fair, and knowledgeable. Under very stressful circumstances he was resolute. I will certainly recommend him.
I agree with the previous poster in that they will be realistic and honest about your case. Schimpf doesn't fold when he gets in the courtroom, they do what they set out to do and accomplish the goals. I value their services and opinion about all others in the area. Ive dealt with a lot of attorneys but this has been the best firm for honest and reliable, strong service.

Mr. Schimpf did not help me with any custody arrangements with my children. He basically let my ex wife get all she asked for, and referred me to a mediator that was completely one-sided. He was costly and didn't really do any work at all. My wife did most of the footwork for everything, and even then, he didn't want to present fact in court. All he did was talk his way around things, and pretty much told me to lay down so my ex could walk all over me. never again!
He certainly isn't good to help disabled people. And didn't have good knowledge of trust laws. That caused a lot of problems.
It would hard to list all the problems I had with this lawyer. My mother came to him when she was dying of horrible cancer to set up a trust. He was often unresponsive and slow to get things done, even though time was short. After my mother died, he didn't explain something that he was recommending I do, and it turned out to be costly for me and made him more money. He rarely gave clear answers. Worst of all, was I lost so much because of a mistake he made with the trust. Then, he was evasive when I tried to contact him about it. He indicated somebody else made a mistake and he would talk to them. About ten months later after getting no progress from him or clear answers, I found out from another source that he had set up the trust wrong. He doesn't seem to want to make it right. I know he's supposed to be good at this, which was why my mother went to him. But, apparently, he's not and it's left me very hurt and confused. I tried several times to work things out with him
I received no response from my "contact us" section on their website. I also did not receive a return telephone call from Mr. Landry after leaving two different messages. I realize my case is very small but I think lack of any kind of response from this firm is very unprofessional.
