Alexandra is an associate of the firm with her primary areas of practice being business and commercial litigation along with casualty litigation, personal injury disputes, general insurance defense, and medical malpractice defense. In addition, she represents a large client in the area of local government law. Alexandra is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State and Federal courts.
Prior to returning to her hometown of Shreveport and joining our firm, Alexandra worked at a prominent firm in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she practiced primarily in the areas of casualty litigation, tort and general insurance coverage and defense (including automobile insurance, personal liability insurance, and commercial liability insurance), medical malpractice defense (both before the Patient’s Compensation Fund and in the court system), and workers’ compensation defense on behalf of employers, insurers and self-insured funds. Alexandra also gained experience in administrative law and in representing law enforcement agencies against Section 1983 claims and other civil rights litigation.
Alexandra attended Louisiana State University and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. She then graduated magna cum laude from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University with a Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law. While there, Alexandra received the Paul M. Hebert Scholar Award and Dean’s Scholar Award and won the CALI Award for Excellence for her work in Basic Civil Procedure II, Contracts, and Legal Research and Writing. She was also a member of the Public Interest Law Society and, as a 3L, was picked to participate in the law school’s tutoring program, where she tutored 1L’s in Basic Civil Procedure
