I did not feel prepared or supported in this case. During the hearing, the attorney referenced the wrong WAC and had to look it up in the middle of court. That raised concerns about preparation. We had multiple court appearances, and I did not feel the level of preparation improved over time. I was told beforehand that the case appeared weak and would likely be dismissed, so I expected a very different outcome. Instead, I felt I was being asked what I wanted to do without clear guidance. After the hearing, I was left confused and upset. When I followed up, I was told the outcome was unexpected and not something she had seen before. I still did not receive a clear explanation of what happened or why the judge ruled that way. Overall, I did not feel confident in the preparation, communication, or direction of this case.
