About Raj Wadhwani

Raj is a founding shareholder of Wadhwani & Shanfeld. Raj earned his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law. He also became a Board Certified Bankruptcy Specialist by the American Board of Certification in 2009.

His over 28 years of bankruptcy experience includes over 15,000 bankruptcy case filings for both consumers and businesses. In 1998, Raj helped pilot the Best Case Bankruptcy Software which is used today by bankruptcy attorneys throughout the country. Raj also participated in the pilot program and had the distinction of being the first attorney to electronically file a bankruptcy case in the Central District of California.

Beyond bankruptcy and debt settlement, Raj is also very experienced in estate planning. In his spare time, Raj enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, playing golf, and cheering on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Hired Attorney Raj Wadhwani

Raj presented himself as a very competent bankruptcy attorney, as well as a personable professional. His firm did all the initial paperwork, and provided a payment schedule for his fee, which was fairly simple. Though he could not personally accompany my wife and I at our initial hearing, he sent a capable lawyer from his firm, and everything went smoothly. The online courses we had to take to qualify were easy to access and cheap. We could call his office anytime with questions, and we did.

Hired Attorney Raj Wadhwani

He doesnt know what he's doing. He is supposed to do a means test to determine what type of bankruptcy a client needs and instead, he tells me that I need a Ch 13 because I have s surplus of expenses at $617. I was also deceived about their office location. I was told that they have an office in Long Beach, which they don't.

I went to consult about possible bankruptcy, He had me pay $1,000. down and sign some papers, I went home and thought about it and decided not to go bankrupt, I called next day to cancel and get my money back, well he did not get back to me and I had to walk in there and tell them I wanted my $1,000. back but they gave me a bunch of baloney, and then he sends me a paper saying he had the right to keep all my money whether I go bankrupt or not? tried to say keeping for drafting documents.
