I hired a lawyer for advise and to protect my rights. None of this happened. I would have been better off if I did the divorce myself, which is an option. I ask for one thing in the divorce which was pertaining to the protection of my children was completely ignored. They lied on court papers without my knowledge. I found out more information on my own a couple of years later when I found out that I couldn't move without petitioning the court and I did my own research.
