Hired Attorney

Due to an extremely abusive relationship, I hired Malis to help my children and I during a tough divorce. Throughout the entire process she had ignored calls/emails, lied repeatedly, did not inform me on everything that was going on. Though, still added ongoing excessive expenses. Malis entirely ignored our needs. Completely controlled every decision by manipulating me into giving into my ex. Which included signing a paper that stated there was absolutely no abuse and to give my ex primary placement of the children. Before the final hearing I was given very little time to read over the divorce decree. Again, manipulated and threatened that the outcome could be worse, if not agreed to. When settling into the courtroom, Malis also stated that I am to sit quietly, and not speak a word to the judge. OUR ABUSER WAS GIVEN PRIMARY PLACEMENT. Without her malpractice, our lives could have been different..

All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
