Suyan (Sharon) Tian advises clients on regulatory compliance issues throughout Asia, covering food and food-related products, feed and feed additives, medical devices, cosmetics, e-cigarettes, and other consumer products.
Sharon helps clients navigate Asia’s rapidly evolving regulatory landscape by monitoring regulatory updates in key areas such as dietary supplements, chemical control, and sustainability legislation.
She also advises clients on the regulatory status of ingredients, processing aids, and finished products (including labeling) under all Asian regulatory schemes and provides information on the specific procedures necessary to obtain approvals for novel foods, health foods, and feed and food made from biotechnology in the Asia-Pacific region. She has experience in conducting product reviews on consumer products, such as cosmetics, wireless devices, and disinfectant products exported to Asia via traditional and cross-border e-commerce (CBEC) modes.
