I had previously used Joe's firm (DeLoach, Hofstra & Cavonis) in assisting my wife & I in making our wills and then, after her death, in helping me to deal with her estate. When it came time for me to sell our Florida home and return to England, I had no hesitation in turning once again to them, This time it was Joe Murphy who handled my case in conjunction with his excellent paralegal Karen Snyder. Communication was spot on at every stage and I was so happy to have Joe reviewing the contracts for sale where he explained everything to me and picked up on a number of issues that I would have completely missed on my own. They also stepped in to assist when the international wire of the sale proceeds by the Florida title company to my UK bank account went awry. Suffice to say, I have now been completely satisfied by this firm on three separate occasions and would have no hesitation in recommending them - and Joe Murphy in particular - to anyone looking for a reliable & responsive attorney

Mr. Murphy went above and beyond for my case. He offered sage advice and guidance which were pivotal in winning my dispute. He also assisted me in any way he possibly could, even though he didn’t even officially take my case! It’s rare these days to find good people out there, Mr. Murphy is absolutely one of them. I had a bit of a complicated commercial real estate issue with a landlord. I called and was told I would hear from a paralegal, Karen. I heard from her within an hour of my call. Karen is pleasant, listens well, easy to speak with and very accurate with regard to her note taking during the call. She and I set up the details and a time for a consultation with Joe Murphy, Attorney. Joe was very precise and offered different positions to take regarding my case, but also advised, when asked, as to the smart options. I was very pleased with both Karen and Joe, as they worked well together as a team, IMO. I felt very comfortable speaking with Karen about anything regarding the case. She is attentive and, as previously mentioned, easy to talk to and handles things well. I was very comfortable speaking with Joe as well. I’ve had very good experiences working with Mr Murphy if DeLoach & Hofstra & Covonnis Mr Murphy specializes in real estate and also is an experienced civil trial lawyer handling tenant landlord disputes including evictions I manage 3 rental properties for my mother and Mr Murphy’s assistance via his paralegal Karen Snyder have been invaluable to me as I rent month to month written leases and whenever I run into a predicament with a tenant I get fast response from Mr Murphy’s office making sure I get a 15 day non renewal notice posted to the property which goes a long way for me in avoiding costly evictions as the tenants fo call him resulting from receiving said non renewal notices and explains their rights under the law and every time what would be problem hold over tenants opt to vacate the property producing a win win situation for me the landlord the tenants and of course curtailing any extra civil litigation lawsuits for the county helping all parties avoid going to court.

After searching the internet for a real estate attorney, this firm had very high recommendations. I spoke with Margaux immediately who in turn put me in contact with Atty. Murphy. He has an awesome staff with Margaux and Karen Schnyder. Karen kept me abreast of all the steps throughout this transaction. Truly a great asset.
