Did not have a good experience, he charged almost twice as much an hour than my ex-husband's lawyer, didn't get me the time I needed with my children, or the support I needed from my ex. Ended up with a huge bill and still owe him to this day, probably will never be able to afford to pay him back. My life was ruined.
He is very hard to get a hold off and he was late for court
Michael Louden gladly entertained everything and anything. He would answer and write about anything - he was not following arbitrary rules, he was talking about things that could not be up for arbitration and he was calling us, the clients, names and making personal attacks and judgements. I was forced to use Louden in 4 arbritrations as he was written into our PP - I advise that you do NOT make the same mistake. ****DO NOT BELIEVE what is posted on AVVO.com (Attorney Review Site) - AVVO lets attorneys manipulate their review ratings by BUYING in. AVVO has refused this review repeatedly stating that I did not hire Michael Louden - I repeatedly sent them invoices/billings with all our names on it and even sent them decisions with Loudens name & signature. **AVVO 👎**
Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend I had a deeply troubling experience with Michael as a mediator/arbitrator. I used Louden for mediation, then I was further forced to use Louden for 4+ Arbitrations as it was written into our parenting plan. Michael Louden entertained multiple issues that were clearly not subject to arbitration and increase billable hours. Even more concerning, was that Michael Louden's written rulings included derogatory references to both parties, which I found highly unprofessional and inappropriate. Additionally, there was a noticeable and offensive bias in how he addressed women, which was both disrespectful and unacceptable in any professional setting. I strongly advise against using his services. There are enough mediators out there that you should find one that follows rules and deescalates and does not continue to escalate conflict.
