Katrina B. Durkin has been practicing law since 2014, when she joined Brothers Henderson Durkin, P.S. She became a shareholder of the firm in 2021. A graduate of the University of Washington and Seattle University School of Law, Katrina focuses her practice on disability and elder law, estate planning, guardianships and conservatorships, trust administration, and settlement planning. She also handles trust and estate disputes, vulnerable adult proceedings, and related litigation. In addition to her legal practice, Katrina regularly serves as a settlement guardian ad litem, probate guardian ad litem, court visitor, and appointed counsel in protective proceedings.
She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, Tacoma-Pierce Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Washington Association for Justice, and the Academy of Special Needs Planners. She serves on the board of the KCBA Guardianship and Elder Law Section and volunteers with its Neighborhood Elder Law Clinic. Outside of the office, Katrina enjoys skiing, boating, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and their dog.
