Joshua L. Brothers is a partner at Brothers Henderson Durkin, P.S., where he has practiced for over a decade. His work centers on disability and elder law, estate planning, and probate. He assists clients with special needs trusts, guardianships, settlement planning, benefits advocacy and litigation, and probate matters. His practice also includes general estate planning and the development and administration of various trusts.
Josh maintains an active role in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Alliance of Washington and the CLE Committee of the Washington State Association for Justice. He has also served as President of the Board for the Arc of King County and held other leadership roles in organizations focused on disability and elder issues. He is currently on the boards of the Arc of Washington State, the Autism Society of Washington’s Professional Advisory Board, and the Tyee Sports Council.
Recognized as a Super Lawyer from 2019 to 2024 and a Rising Star in 2009 and 2010, Josh frequently presents at educational events and conferences. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family, surfing, skiing, and supporting disability awareness, including his cross-country cycling in the 1999 Journey of Hope.
