Over his 17-year tenure there, he rose to lead the firm’s litigation department. James has successfully represented clients in numerous jury and bench trials across Washington’s state and federal courts. His experience extends to the appellate arena, where he has argued before all divisions of the Washington Court of Appeals and the Ninth Circuit, establishing pivotal case law in malpractice, negligence claims against tax professionals, and cannabis industry regulations.
