Greg McBroom, Esq., is the Managing Partner of Smith McBroom, PLLC, where he provides skilled representation for the injured and vulnerable across the Pacific Northwest. A Washington native and former structural engineer with 13 years at Boeing, Greg transitioned to law after earning his Juris Doctor from Seattle University. His early career in litigation defense evolved into a passion for advocacy, inspired by his impactful pro bono work. Notably, he secured a landmark $96 million jury verdict in Rekhter v. Dept. of Social & Health Services (2015), protecting the rights of an individual with disabilities. Greg and his partner, Matt Smith, founded Smith McBroom in 2018 to champion justice for those harmed by negligence. He brings extensive trial experience, having also obtained a $7.6 million verdict in JH v. Sumner-Bonney Lake School District (2023).
Greg is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and multiple state and federal courts. He is a respected member of several legal associations and a sought-after speaker at legal conferences. Outside of his practice, Greg enjoys fishing, hiking, and spending time with his wife and family.
