About Deborah Martin

Deborah Martin began working with the Luvera Law Firm in 1999, where her efforts are devoted exclusively to the representation of individuals with personal injury claims.

Martin began her career as a lawyer with the Seattle law firm of Helsell Fetterman LLP, becoming a partner in 1993 and continuing her work there until 1998 as a member of the firm’s general litigation department, in which she focused primarily on representing plaintiffs in commercial litigation. She also represented both plaintiffs and defendants in employment matters.

Martin has been an active member of the King County, Washington State, and American Bar Associations. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1981. She received her juris doctorate, with honors, from the University of Washington School of Law in 1986.

Born in Torrance, Calif. in 1959, Martin now resides with her husband, son and two daughters in Seattle.
