About Christine Ridner

Christy is a Pacific Northwest native, raised in Issaquah, WA. She attended Western Washington University gaining a major in Business Management and minor in Law. After her undergraduate degree she decided to pursue becoming an attorney because she wanted a career that would allow her to help people and make a positive impact in their lives.

Christy graduated magna cum laude in the top 10% of her class Seattle University School of Law and was recognized as a Washington State Scholar, awarded to the top 1% of the applicant pool. A highlight of law school was interning for a King Superior Court judge who was presiding over family law cases at the time. Christy chose to go into family law to help guide people through a difficult time in their life and make the legal process as less stressful as possible.

Christy joined Truce because she likes how the firm puts families first by encouraging amicable resolution but is also willing to head to court and fight for clients when needed.

Background

Prior to family law, Christy worked as a prosecutor handling domestic violence cases where she spent countless hours in the courtroom, including handling multiple trials.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking throughout the Pacific Northwest but her most memorable time hiking was in the Swiss Alps. She also enjoys reading crime novels, (especially those by Ruth Ware!), baking cookies and spending time with family and friends. Christy also has a golden retriever and two cats who bring her a lot of joy as well!
