Ada K. Wong is the owner of AKW LAW, P.C., with offices in Washington and California. She is licensed to practice in California, Washington, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Northern District of California, the Eastern District of California, the Western District of Washington, and the Eastern District of Washington.
Ada is an Adjunct Professor at the Seattle University School of Law, teaching Employment Discrimination. She also serves as an arbitrator in King and Snohomish counties.
She is a frequent speaker at conferences across the nation, lecturing on various topics including Employment Law, Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, Wills and Trusts, Business Formation, and Car Accidents. She has published numerous articles. She currently serves on the Board of the Washington Employment Lawyers Association (WELA) and is the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the 2022 WELA Employment Deskbook.
She is on the Editorial Board of Trial Guides, former Editor-in-Chief of WSAJ Trial News, and former Editorial Board Member of the American Inns of Court The Bencher. She was also the past President of the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Washington (VABAW), past Public Relations Chair of the William L. Dwyer American Inns of Court, and past Board Member of the Washington Association for Justice (WSAJ).
She graduated from the University of Washington School of Law with a Dispute Resolution Concentration. During law school, Ada served as Executive Managing Editor of Production on the Pacific Rim Law & Policy Journal. She was also very active in Moot Court competitions and represented UW School of Law at the Thomas Tang International Moot Court Competition as a regional semi-finalist in both Los Angeles and Atlanta. Ada served as a coach for mock trial and appellate advocacy teams at the law school, Ada also interned at the Seattle City Attorney’s Office, Civil Division; U.S. Attorney’s Office, Tax Division; Sacramento District Attorney’s Office; and with Judge Andrea Darvas of the King County Superior Court.
Prior to starting AKW Law, she was a civil litigation attorney at law firms in Bellevue and Seattle. Ada’s practice focuses on employment law, business law, estate planning, civil rights, and personal injury.
During her spare time, you can find Ada playing co-ed flag football or hanging out with her husband, daughters, and three cats: Matcha, Kylo, and Soba.
