The law firm of Curtis & Burnight has a long history of providing professional legal services to the greater Long Beach community. The firm provides a variety of general civil legal services with emphasis on family law, real estate, business law, estate planning and administration and trust administration.

Members of the law firm have a long history of civic, community and charitable involvement and have been active within local, county and state bar associations. In community government, members of the firm have served as city councilmen and city mayors. The law firm is proud to have a former member who is now a retired California Appellate Court Justice (Honorable Justice Michael Nott) and two former members who are now retired Superior Court Judges.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
