Michael A. Giannetta is Special Counsel and a member of the Firm’s Litigation, and Personal Injury Practice area in our Scranton office. As a former Senior Deputy Attorney General with the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Mr. Giannetta has over 36 years of civil litigation experience. His practice focuses on general litigation, motor vehicle injury claims, commercial and homeowners’ premises liability, zoning and municipal disputes.
In addition to handling jury trials, he has years of experience representing clients in arbitrations and mediations and in drafting and arguing appeals in the appellate courts of Pennsylvania.
Michael has long served as an elected township supervisor in Scott Township, Lackawanna County PA, focusing on zoning and other municipal issues. He was also a member of the Lackawanna County Government Study Commission, which reviewed and proposed updates and changes to the county governmental structure for voter approval.
