Fred Lokuta focuses his practice on healthcare litigation and defense. He represents hospitals, clinics, healthcare systems, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, insurance companies, and other entities in the healthcare field in a variety of professional negligence, internal investigations, regulatory compliance, and professional licensing issues. Fred’s understanding of the business of healthcare, the workings of the court system, and the practicalities of dispute resolution inform his meticulous yet practical approach. From his years as an attorney defending high value claims, his experience litigating in the trial court, and his role as a board member for a nonprofit tasked with overseeing companies in the human services sector, Fred is well-versed in the legal issues facing organizations. He understands the complex legal questions, the detailed investigation and focused preparation needed to win. Fred also balances the practical implications for his clients and their business, and he helps his clients to fight for the best possible outcomes.
Finding real solutions to real problems drives Fred Lokuta. As a college student, he co-founded Penn State’s LionPAC Bipartisan Political Action Club. And he now sits on the board of Imperium, a nonprofit based in Pennsylvania that seeks to help and grow organizations that support people and communities of social inclusion. In all things, Fred strives to make a difference, whether for his community or for his clients.
