In addition to his legal career, Michael generously volunteers at his local church, particularly working with children. He is licensed to practice law in Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.

He graduated as the Valedictorian of his class from Arizona Summit Law School, achieving Summa Cum Laude status with a remarkable 3.97 GPA. His remarkable dedication was reflected in his success in the Arizona bar exam, where he achieved the highest bar score from Arizona Summit Law School. During his time in law school, Michael earned an impressive eight CALI awards, a recognition reserved for the top student in individual classes. He consistently made the dean's list every eligible semester, served as a staff editor on the Arizona Summit Law Review, and was honored with the Presidential Scholarship, awarded to the school's top student.
