Hired Attorney Mr. John N Vingelli

Attorney Vingelli served as co-chair on our medical malpractice case. His efforts and expertise greatly contributed to a successful pretrial mediation agreement on a very involved case. Our attorney, David Sumner, and he worked flawlessly together and we had the benefit of that synergy. In addition, he and his staff were kind and very responsive to a couple of seniors suffering from a hospital /doctor related injury.

If you find yourself in need of legal assistance (especially in the criminal realm), John Vingelli should be your go-to attorney. Mr. Vingelli completely and systematically destroyed trumped-up charges in my case(s) in a completely candid fashion, which also aided the career path of the Maricopa County attorney newly-assigned to the case (to whom the allegations had been completely misrepresented). This non-confrontational and rational approach is the precise way the legal system should work, and a perfect example of why Mr. Vingelli should be your first choice.

Upon initially meeting John I was optimistic he was going to help me I have a criminal drug case I'm fighting but after I finally got him to write a motion to suppress evidence which he did pretty good on in oral arguments he made a statement he knew would kill any hope it won. If I had proof I would even go as far as saying he was colluding with the prosecutor against me because there's NO possible way he could have thought I agreed with his statement because for almost a year I've been telling him the opposite which is why he left it out of the written portion of the motion and slid it in the oral where I could not correct him. So If you want someone that isn't going to fight for you or give you your discovery with trial weeks away hes your guy I'm currently looking for new representation

STAY AWAY!  RUN!  DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!  John (or is it Michael) Vingelli was assigned to me by the OPDS and after 8-months as my attorney (in litigation that has spanned nearly a decade) he had not only failed to answer basic questions but he was late to Court on multiple occasions, failed to file requisite (Ordered) Pre-Hearing Statements, refused to make edits to filings to represent my true positions and allowed the other side to both and perceptibly violate my most basic rights and waste my time!  He even filed pleadings with the name "Michael Vingelli" at the top -- begging the question:  "if your attorney can't get his own name right at the top of a filing, how competent can he truly be?"  In my experienced opinion this guy represents the absolute worst that the industry has to offer.  He markets himself as an accomplished lawyer with tons of experience --  but, my experience was that he did nothing but waste my life and time and then defame me to the court to protect himself.

Threatened to "resign" if I did not settle 160K case for 55K; ignored dozens of my emails and my request to review draft Complaint, resulting in it being filed containing important errors of fact; ignored Medicare's requests for reimbursement of medical bills it had paid, causing Medicare to notify me I was about to lose all future benefits and my SS benefits would be diverted to pay this debt; not until I asked the bar assn. to investigate did he disburse settlement funds to me and Medicare.
