Melanie B. Hollliman merged her law practice with John R. Holliman’s practice in 2014 to form Bradford & Holliman which focuses on client needs for Estate Planning, Long Term Care Planning, Asset Protection (including trust planning and business entities), Medicaid Planning & Appeals (asset protection, preparing and submitting the Medicaid application, appeals), Special Needs Trusts, and Probate matters.
With offices in Scottsboro and Pelham as well as video conferencing, she can be reached easily throughout much of North Alabama.
For several years, Melanie has been recognized as a Top Flight Attorney by B-Metro magazine and as a Top Attorney by Birmingham magazine for her work in elder law, trusts, and probate. And thanks to her legal peers, she is delighted to be recognized with Preeminent Attorney status by Martindale-Hubbell. Melanie B. Holliman also serves as Executive Director of Alabama Family Trust, a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation set up by the Alabama Legislature, which administers special needs trusts for disabled children and adults in Alabama. She was previously appointed to the board by Governor Bentley and confirmed by the Alabama Senate in 2014.
