As a firefighter/paramedic, I pride myself in customer sevice. The service I received from this law office was far from what was promised and to be expected. Attorney Michael Collins advised it would take a day to process my case and to get it filed into the court system. After three months of patiently waiting for him to process the case, Attorney Collins started to continually repeat the same questions over and over in email and text. I documented and forwarded all the repetition, in which no response was met. He did absolutely nothing for me and returned my retainer months later. I advised him I was raised to be a man of good principles, and not after monetary gain. He responded by stating no attorney cares to hear that. I accidentally contacted Mr. Collins last week concerning a separate case inwhich I already had counsel, and their response was far different from the three other law firms. I wish there was an honest review I could have read earlier. Hope this helps. Good luck

Hired Law Firm

I had engaged Michael for a labor case. I found him to be a very low-grade attorney. His work was poor/minimalistic - his filings were little more than copy/pastes of what I provided him. Michael is highly unresponsive - he spends most all of his time in a different state in the southwest. I eventually had to hire a different attorney to try to fix the mistakes and other shortcomings of Michael's work. Also, check his record with the Illinois bar - he was censured by them in the past.
