We had a closing today on a house we bought and Gil Schumm represented the seller. The closing company had told him not to come in because the seller’s attorney is non-essential, with the Covid-19 measures they have in place. Gil didn’t send in the documents ahead of time so that we could close, and he didn’t show up for the 10:00 closing. Our lawyer was calling him and calling his office and trying to figure out what was going on, but we couldn’t even get in contact with him until about 10:45, when he answered his phone and said he thought the closing was at 1:00 and he was coming to the title company office. He finally arrived around 11:15
