"Phone it In Hoffman" was initially professional and seemingly compassionate when a $15,000 retainer was at stake, I was underwhelmed by her both effort and her attention to detail. When she realized that my case would not unlikely go to court (at $500 an hour), the amount of advocacy decreased exponentially. The resulting settlement was embarrassing but one she assured me was the best possible outcome. Funny when your ex husband asks you later why your lawyer did not attempt to contest obvious elements of the financial agreement? I was a novice, it was COVID and he was evil. FAST FORWARD to 4 years post divorce, I am still embroiled in a federal tax case resulting from her very POOR legal advice that she refused to help me resolve. AVOID HER!
