I hired Attorney John Carson Jr. for two felonies charges in 2021, 1 possession of firearm by felon and 2 obstruction with violence.Just when I thought all hope was lost. Here i am free as bird with no jail time. Even though i got two years of unsupervised probation. If he tells you what he is going to do just believe. Here I am a true believer. Personally Bobby Phillips Sr. is a nice man. Professionally, I am not happy with the service he provided. I spent $10,000 which may not seem like much but to me, it was a very large sum of money.. My friend and I received the same exact punishment. He had a public defender and he has an extensive criminal record. So I essentially threw $10,000 in the trash. Bobby sent a few emails and went to court one time. Once he was paid I feel he basically checked out. He did not fight for me. He gave me zero options. He told me I had no defense unless I paid him another $10,000 and took it to trial and then I could end up in prison. You live and learn.. my suggestion, get a public defender.

This lawyer will tell you what you want to hear to retain you for money. He told me I was being “Railroad” by the opposing parties and did nothing in my defense to help stop it. I was being railroaded as the court officials made up so many lies and dragged out a simple custody case for a year. John took my money and continue the railroad process. He kept reassuring me that he can beat this. This was a case where court officials were friends. John knew he was not going to win with a judge acting as a GAL and another Judge acting as a mediator. The opposing lawyer is the town’s worst because he plays dirty from the feedbacks I have received from others. Even worst the-court judge recused himself after the hearing. Why? I deserved an explanation. This lawyer can not fight the big dogs because he doesn’t have the skill set or the heart to fight.

Mr. Carson was hesitant at both of my trials, I had to stand up and say objection myself. He only had one defense, which was my client wasn't on the scene, which the Supreme Court Of Bulloch County doesn't care about. I ended up with a life sentence without parole. He is a pushover in the courtroom, he will not stand up for you or challenge the judge. He stated we don't want to upset the judge, but my life has been upset since the conviction date.

He didn’t work out for me. He was too timid in court. He didn’t fight for my best interest. He is more about the money and not the client. He is not what you want in an attorney.
