About Gregory L. Finch

Gregory L. Finch is a partner in Bouhan Falligant LLP’s litigation group, focusing his practice primarily in medical malpractice and professional liability, nursing home and long-term care, transportation and logistics, and products liability. Greg is also a member of the transportation group’s Emergency Response Team, conducting on-scene accident investigation. Originally from Crestwood, Kentucky, Greg is a member of the State Bars of Georgia, Indiana, and Kentucky and is admitted to practice in the state courts of each state. Greg is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky, the Southern District of Indiana, and the Middle and Southern Districts of Georgia.

Prior to joining the firm in January 2019, Greg practiced with a national civil defense firm. Greg has successfully defended local, regional, and national clients in matters involving medical and dental malpractice, long-term care defense, employment disputes, and matters involving premises liability, products liability, Constitutional violations, personal injury, and transportation and logistics. Greg has successfully briefed and argued summary judgment motions, motions to dismiss, motions for reconsideration, Daubert motions, motions to compel, and has handled numerous other hearings before courts in Georgia, Indiana, and Kentucky. Greg has also successfully represented clients before State licensure boards, Medical Review Panels, and at arbitration.

A proud Eagle Scout and Kentucky Colonel, Greg enjoys engaging in the community in a variety of causes benefitting local organizations, families, children, and healthcare groups. Greg currently serves as board member and treasurer of the Savannah Harbor Foundation, a Savannah non-profit organization focused on bettering the community and families by raising money and hosting events to support local charities benefitting kids, families, and the Savannah community. Greg was previously involved with the American Heart Association Louisville Board of Young Professionals, Young Professionals Association of Louisville, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Special Olympics of Kentucky, and the Kids Cancer Alliance. Greg is an active member of the Savannah Bar Association and the Georgia Bar Association, including the Young Lawyers Division, and remains involved with American Football Without Barriers. Greg is also involved with his alma mater, Transylvania University, serving on the Board of Governors for the Theta Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau, and enjoys mentoring students through the student mentor program: 100 Doors to Success.

Greg graduated from Transylvania in Lexington, Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in writing, rhetoric, and communication with minors in political science and sociology. While at Transylvania, Greg was a varsity athlete in basketball and track and field, and a brother of the Theta Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity, serving as the Philanthropy Chair. Greg earned his J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law where he served as Associate Notes Editor for the Journal of Animal and Environmental Law, successfully competed in national trial competition on the National Trial Team and worked as a legal extern for the legal aid society.
