Ronald W. Chapman Sr. is a health care defense attorney with 38 years of legal experience and 36 years representing health professionals in Florida and Michigan. He founded Chapman Law Group in Troy, Michigan, and focuses on defending clinicians, providers, facilities, correctional health contractors and insurers in matters including medical malpractice, professional licensing, correctional health law, health care fraud and false claims, Qui Tam, peer review, credentialing, administrative law and health-care-related criminal defense. He also advises on compliance—Anti‑Kickback and Stark, DEA, Medicare and Medicaid claims, compliance program formation and Medicare audits. Ronald holds a JD from Wayne State University and an LL.M. in Health Care Law from Loyola University Chicago. Mr. Chapman and his team successfully closed a medical practice under difficult conditions, He demonstrated great professionalism and patience explaining not only the legal process that the state required but what the Board of Medicine expected. He and his team always responded promptly to my request for status updates and meeting requests. He and his team supported me and guided me throughout the process recognizing that I had no legal or medical background.
