Albert A. Sanchez is an accomplished attorney with more than thirty years of practice in the Sarasota–Manatee area, concentrating in construction, real estate and business law. A Tampa native, he graduated with High Honors from Riverview High School in Sarasota and earned both his B.A. (High Honors) and J.D. from the University of Florida, where he served as Articles Editor of the Law Review. From 1998 to 2014, he combined client representation with his role as managing partner on commercial and residential developments in St. Armand’s Circle, downtown Sarasota, Palmer Ranch and Lakewood Ranch. Board Certified in Business Litigation and, from 2012–2020, a Florida Certified Building Contractor, Mr. Sanchez is active in the ABA Forum on Construction and served on the Florida Supreme Court’s Business and Contracts Jury Instruction Committee (2018–2024). He currently chairs the Sarasota Bar Association’s Business Law Section (2024–2025) and belongs to several Florida Bar sections. Honored in 2005 as Outstanding Alumni of UF’s College of Arts and Sciences, he has served on charitable boards such as the Boys and Girls Club of Sarasota. Married to Carolyn since 1981, he is the proud father of Kate, Harrison and Colin.
