Robert is a shareholder at the Santa Rosa Beach office of Dunlap & Shipman, P.A. Since graduating from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and becoming a member of the Florida Bar in 2009, he has dedicated his career to serving the legal needs of this area. A large portion of Robert’s practice involves the representation of community association clients, with an additional focus on real property litigation, land planning and development, and appellate practice. Robert is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator, and as part of his community association practice he teaches continuing education courses for community association managers and certification courses for newly elected directors.
A lifelong Gator by blood, Robert attended the University of Florida for both undergraduate studies (including Finance and International Relations) and law school.
He is actively involved in the local community, including volunteer service on HOA boards of directors, the board of directors of The Seaside School, Inc., coaching youth sports for his children, and past service as Vice President of the Walton County Bar Association.
Robert grew up in Atlanta, then moved to Florida with his mother in 1997 and eventually to Walton County in 2009 to join Dunlap & Shipman. Robert lives in Point Washington with his wife Louisa and their children Jack, Emerson, and Ellie.
