Sylvia Shen is a senior associate in WSHB’s Los Angeles. She focuses her practice on the defense of hotels and businesses in civil litigation cases, including hospitality, habitability, and product liability. Sylvia also enjoys experience in defending public entities and major trucking and shipping companies in catastrophic injury cases.
She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law. While there, Sylvia worked as a commercial analyst for the Office of Technology Management where she conducted initial patentability and marketability analysis of university researchers’ findings. She earned her B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in International Relations from the University of California, San Diego.
Sylvia is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. When not practicing law, Sylvia enjoys practicing yoga, reading, and opera.
