About Stephen D Aarons

After serving three years as a US Army Judge Advocate stationed in Germany, Steve returned to New Mexico and, as a public defender, represented defendants in 13 death penalty trials. He hung his own shingle in 1992 and has handled state and federal cases in New Mexico ever since. His criminal caseload ranges from DUI, domestic violence and expungements up to first degree murders and appeals. Stephen was able to get my case dismissed within 90 days. He was right to the point , worked with precise knowledge and no nonsense. He was able to get this done remotely with zoom meeting with the courts. He assisted with recovering my personal property from SFPD then 14 months later took me through a process to expungement. Everyone is super professional and knowledgeable of the Law and all the processes. Great Attorney and even a better person especially Alicia

My children were placed in state custody due to allegations that were simply untrue. We have been fighting this case for six months. However, I know the outcome will be positive on our end. Steve is very knowledgeable on every case he takes on. He isn't just a lawyer but also a friend who will believe in you and stick by you until the end. He is also very well liked and respected throughout the courthouse. I once had the lawyer on the opposing side tell me he respected Steve.

I could lose my job with a DWI conviction. Asked around, hired Aarons. He got my DWI dismissed after one year of probation. The judge threw out the reckless driving to boot. 2 Thumbs Up!
