A difficult divorce is challenging. Richard Lees and his staff were up to the challenge. I was treated with compassion and understanding. I would highly recommend his services.
The man is a misogynist creep. He did little to help, was repeatedly rude to me, gave me horrific advise, insisted he "didn't give a dam about doing what I or any client asked." His grandiosity cost me much of my case. He lied directly to me, over charged, and behaved like an a-- the entire time. He's a lousy lawyer which he attempts to make up for with hubris and arrogance.
I hired Richard in a simple dissolution matter. He completely bungled it, involved me in totally unnecessary litigation, then lied before the professional panel with the Bar when I filed charges. His is dishonest, in my opinion, and has serious characterologic flaws: untruthful. Waaaayyyy overcharges... I never paid his final full billing. He had charges that were false. In the community, I later learned that people call him Richard Sleaze... there's a reason for that. Stay away from him.
