Hired Attorney Stephen Frank

To sum up at the very beginning, this man is a bully. My 96-year-old mother had questions about her will pertaining to changing the power of attorney as well as trust fund queries. From the get-go he appointed himself her fiduciary, and was quite forceful (not authoritatively, just pushy) about what types of control he was going to have including that HIS real estate agent was going to sell the property, (and a litany of other details) he just took over. He wasn't even hired yet. He flat out refused to speak to another sibling involved, which was my mother's ONLY request and a major reason for the appointment. As far as the trust fund goes he spent just a few minutes minutes talking about it, then change the subject, saving that for another expensive appointment I suppose. She paid him a sizable amount of money (as he kept on with the idol chit-chat rather than on the subjects at hand) and have nothing to show for it. And of course, she still needs to try find an honest attorney.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
