I could not recommend James Traut more! My family was involved in a car accident earlier this year. We had never been in one before and it was 100% not our fault. We were told to find a lawyer and James came recommended and I understand why he was. When I called i was nervous and had no idea what to expect. Having been involved in an auto accident before I was familiar with the process but it had been years and in another area of our country. Searching online through reviews, James and the TrautFirm came up repeatedly at or near the very top. The most impressive ones were from other attorneys. I figured “who would know better?” They were right and I was not disappointed in any way. In fact I don’t know how my case could have gone smoother. James described his view of my situation, explained his approach, and predicted the outcome nearly to the dollar amounts and time necessary. I knew where the process was and understood our position at all times. His support staff was exemplary as well, being friendly and warm, and thorough and professional. The Traut law firm handled my case after my initial attorney decided he did not want to litigate because liability was contested. James Traut and his assistant Chris were both very responsive and kept me up to date on the transgressions of my case. James Traut took the necessary steps to clarify the liability issue including deposing two witnesses that contradicted the insured’s false narrative of the facts of the accident.
