Peter demanded an enormous retainer, went through it quickly, and then demanded more money before the case even went to the preliminary hearing. Peter counseled us to seek costly experts, all of which ended up hurting our case. Once plea bargain came around, Peter misrepresented the terms and pressured us into signing a deal simply because he thought he could not get more money out of us. This man is the reason there are so many slimy lawyer jokes. If the statute hadn't run, I would sue him.
Mr.Larkin charged me $25000.00 and delayed my case for two years and did nothing but delay my case for his personal reasons. He never got me a investigator or a bail reduction hearing that I requested several times in writing and verbally. He left me in the Los Angeles county jail to be assaulted and I had to be hospitalized for staph infections. He showed no concerns. He refused to give me a billing of his services and demanded more money when he had not done anything. He knows nothing about white collar crimes and the D.A. chewed him up in the courtroom. He dropped my case and I ended up with a public defender that was better than him and got me a deal for FREE! Don't waste your money with this attorney or your freedom. You have been warned. He needs to retire or be disbarred!
