About Nigel A. Whitehead

Nigel A. Whitehead, Esq. has been practicing law since 1988. Nigel began his career with a Los Angeles firm boasting over 250 lawyers. Between 1992 and 2009 he ran his own successful law firm, before teaming up with the Ernst Law Group.

Nigel handles primarily personal injury matters, his focus and skill being in the courtroom. “Being a lawyer who takes a case to a jury, in my mind, is the highest and best use of a lawyer’s skills. Nowhere else in the world can an individual stand up to a huge insurance company or corporation and fight for justice. No matter how much money the defense has, or how many lawyers they use, when it comes to the trial one lawyer for each side stands up to the jury…”

Nigel is a past President of the Central Coast Trial Lawyers Association, and is currently the Vice President.

Nigel is married and is the proud father of three children. He enjoys golfing, bike riding, and wine tasting in the local area. He helps with this daughter’s mock trial team, which has won the past three years.

Clearly capable, strong on service,experienced, and committed to integrity; Mr. Whitehead has provided realistic counsel and goals. While I have not had to use him in litigation, I would in a heartbeat, if needed. He knows when to refer as well.
