Nana Knight is an accomplished attorney with a diverse background as a former prosecutor, law professor, senior military officer, author, and community leader. She has built her career serving her country and practicing criminal law, military law, and civil litigation throughout California and the western United States. A graduate of UCLA, where she earned her degree summa cum laude, Nana completed her legal education at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco.
After law school, Nana served as a U.S. Air Force officer, where she prosecuted complex sexual assault cases and advised commanders on legal matters with state and national implications. She is a California State Bar Board-certified specialist in criminal law, a distinction achieved by fewer than 1% of attorneys.
Her legal experience includes prosecuting serious criminal cases, including homicides and domestic violence, and litigating complex civil matters such as police misconduct and constitutional violations. As a recognized legal commentator and educator, Nana has trained lawyers and published articles on topics such as military justice and domestic violence.
