Loren has a good presentation and claimed to understand how to handle my case. Nice guy - good reviews - poor legal skills. Shortly after I paid the retainer - the problems started happening. My case was more complex than he expected. He needed me to repeat details multiple times - so I switched to communicating in writing - He would show up late - or not be available when he said he was available. The forms he filed on my behalf didn't have mistakes - so he's good at filling out forms like a Para Legal would. But when it came to litigating or follow-through I wasn't impressed. Loren may know the letter of the law but he doesn't have strategy, know how to apply the law or get results. Loren is better suited to practice law in the San Jose Flea Market where many of the clients don't speak english and there aren't opposing attorneys who can outwit him. It turns out that getting a law degree and passing the bar doesn't make a successful or even good attorney. Caveat Emptor
