national origin, retaliation,
constructive discharge. We have filed our response with the EEOC, refuting the factual
legal bases of the plaintiff's complaint,
the matter is ongoing.
Appealing a $6.1 million fine imposed by the California Labor Commissioner after a st
ard wage
hour claim for unpaid overtime led to a full internal audit of all company records by the commissioner, as well as revising client business practices to bring them into full compliance.
Currently mediating a dispute between our employer client
two former employees, both alleging sexual harassment (hostile work environment), sexual assault
gender violence, retaliation,
constructive discharge. A general release signed by one of the plaintiffs bars the claims of one employee, but this matter is still in the early stages of mediation.
