About Christopher D. Hirz

Christopher Hirz is a native of San Jose, having grown up in the area and eventually graduating from San Jose State University. He attended law school at University of the Pacific where he graduated, with distinction, in 2006. While in law school, he was awarded Honors in Trial Advocacy and graduated as a member of the Traynor Honor Society.

Christopher joined Del Ponte and Hirz in 2007 as an associate attorney and was subsequently made a partner.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, friends, and family and enjoys cooking. In 2010, he and his wife placed second in the Santa Cruz Clam Chowder Cook-Off and they are looking for their first victory.

When you are faced with the challenge of choosing counsel, please understand that the review of personal experience is an invaluable resource. I asked if I could send this review, as I felt compelled to help anyone that was in a similar situation. I truly understand the emotions that go into even filling for divorce. The decision is made more difficult because then you have to pick the right attorney! I’m convinced that Chris Hirz is the right choice the first time!

Few things about Chris I have been very impressed with -
(a) Honesty and transparency - He was upfront about estimated time, costs and the plan. I got the judgement he promised, well with-in the estimated time and at a lower cost.
(b) Very smart and knowledgeable. He is at the top of his profession.
(c) Responsive and proactive with communication. I was never left wondering about what is happening with my case.
(d) A great person. Understood the emotional situation and offered great advice.
