Hired Attorney Scott Carter

I advise a wealthy individual regarding his investments and am named as his executor and testamentary trustee. Mr. Carter treats this highly educated man with condescension verging on contempt. Because of the treatments, my client asked me to find him another lawyer. Mr. Carter has refused to send certain documents to his successor. He claims not to have the documents in question, but he charged for their drafting and execution.

Hired Law Firm

I was recommended to Scott Carter regarding setting up a Life Estate. The first meeting was informational and I was told the first 30 minutes was a free consultation. The second meeting was to get the estate written up. I was told it would take 1 week. After 10 days I inquired as to where my estate paperwork was--no answer. I inquired again--still no anwer. Then I received a large bill WITH NO DEED and no comp'd consultation! Do not use this firm! They do not keep their word.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
