About Marcus M. Dong

Marcus Dong concentrates his practice in employment practices defense litigation, where he has litigated cases alleging discrimination and retaliation under federal and California law. Recently, he obtained summary judgment victories on behalf of employers in two separate disability discrimination matters (one in state court and one in federal court). He also litigates wage and hour matters on behalf of employers, including class actions involving claims under California Labor Code’s Private Attorneys General Act.

Mr. Dong also has experience in professional liability matters. He represents insurance agents and brokers (for whom he has successfully defended at trial and obtained summary judgment), the areas of general and business litigation, premises liability, construction defect, and healthcare reimbursement claims on behalf of providers.

In addition to handling each phase of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions law and motion, and alternative dispute resolution, Mr. Dong has extensive trial experience. He has second chaired multiple jury and bench trials and a binding arbitration.
