Wilkinson & Finkbeiner, LLP is a law firm established in 2005 with an office in San Diego, CA. At this office location, there are 3 lawyers practicing family law, adoption law, child custody and 22 other areas of law.
Almost two years and high double digits in billable hours and no where near divorced. Scott mishandled the parenting plan, business evaluation and temporary support payments leaving me in a significantly financially strapped situation. Endless delays, no communication yet non stop invoices for his services. For months I felt like things were going in the wrong direction but kept thinking I need to give him the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake! After a few quick phone calls to other attorneys, I felt sick about how off track my case was. I had no choice but to switch to a new attorney who has worked hard to get things heading in a healthier direction with a focus on my best interests.
Mr. Finkbeiner was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. If you are thinking of using his services I suggest that you find another lawyer. He never got back to me about things and never explained what he was doing. I spent almost $3000 to do what I could have done alone. And...I show up to court and find out that it was unnecessary!!! Another lawyer just trying to get more money. I strongly recommend anyone looking for a family lawyer to stay away from him and this firm. What a waste of money!
