About Nancy A. Spector

Ms. Spector graduated with honors from Western State University College of Law, holds a Master of Arts degree in American History from George Washington University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Illinois.

Ms. Spector is a former co-chair of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the San Diego County Bar Association. She is a frequent lecturer of continuing education courses for attorneys, and for many years, was an instructor in the paralegal program at UCSD. In addition, she speaks at seminars for various organizations, including the Girl Scouts San Diego, the Special Needs Trust Foundation, The Old Globe, Jewish Family Service, the Alzheimer's Association, the San Diego Women's Foundation, and the County of San Diego.

Ms. Spector currently is a board member of the San Diego Foundation and the San Diego Library Foundation. She is the past President of the Estate Planning Council, past Chair of the Professional Advisor Council of the San Diego Foundation, and former board member of the Alzheimer's Association, The Old Globe, and the Women's Advisory Council for the Vista Hill Foundation. She is also an active member of the San Diego Women's Foundation and a great supporter of the Utah Shakespeare Festival and the Susan G. Komen 3 Day.

When I think of Nancy the words integrity, supportive and trustworthy come to mind. As a new resident of California I needed my Trust revised and I knew as soon as I met her that I had come to the right place. First of all, she reviewed my trust and all of the pertinent paperwork. She offered informative suggestions and helped me put all the pieces in place. She does not waste your time and is fully present for every appointment. I would recommend her to any and all.

Absolute waste of time. Went from “no problem” to “can’t handle your case” after I got dumped off to the office ‘associate’. Very disappointed to have wasted my time.
