NOTE: I was a party to a case in which she represented my ex-husband who eventually hired another attorney to replace her. Carol holds a reputation for "churning" cases. I dealt with it as an opposing party, observing her legal bills that were astronomical. My attorney joked that she wanted to "buy an island". I had to unwind her constant falsehoods in filings and before the courts. What's unforgivable is her collusion with my ex-husband to liquidate our CP trust account that was held by her that she liquidated improperly and without authority, court orders or consent. She used to pay her own legal bills that she allowed her client (my ex-) to pile on, knowing she had our community property (hundreds of thous. in $$) that no one could touch w/o going through her wrath. She inflamed hostilities to create a dynamic that causes a gridlock between the parties and attorneys. Even our kids were impacted by her acrimonious games. So much damage that we are still in litigation, 8 yrs. later!!
