About Joyce Marie Holcomb

I attended California State University for my undergraduate and California Southern Law School for my Law Degree.

Prior to becoming an attorney I worked as a Paralegal for some very reputable family law attorneys for approximately 15 years. Therefore, I know both sides of a case (the procedural and the law).

I am a member of the California State Bar since 2006; the San Bernardino County Bar and Association of Certified Family Law Specialist.

I am a certified Family Specialist (I am the only female Certified Family Law Specialist in the Cities of San Bernardino, Redlands and Highland).

For the past 6 years I have had the Indigent Defense Contract with the County of San Bernardino wherein I was court appointed to represent several hundred of defendants who were charged with Contempt of Court for violation of court orders (typically non-payment of child support). I also represented several hundred military personal under the Service Members Civil Relief Act in which I handled Paternities, Establishment and Child Support Modifications cases.

Mission Statement: I take pride in my work therefore I stride to return telephone calls within a reasonable amount of time. I try to be accessible to my clients if they need to speak with me directly. When someone hires me I believe that you to have access to speak with me.

Hired Attorney

Mrs. Holcomb became my lawyer in 2006 first with my divorce. She has since represented me in child custody, child support, visitation and contempt of court. I think Joyce is very personable and has extensive knowledge of the law. She. Not only worked her butt off in my cases but she always returned phone calls and answered emails. The judge didn't always rule my way but I do not believe that had anything to do with Joyce's ability as a lawyer. The judge had her mind made up

Keep looking don't use her. She doesn't know anything about law. Close family members are in and out of prison.

Joyce Holcombe is all talk upon retaining her! She has her mind made up already regardless of the Clients requests/needs. She will not fight for you. But she will continue to charge you! She lacks professionalism and does not stand behind her clients.

DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR FAMILY WITH THIS FIRM!!! IF YOU WANT TO LOSE CUSTODY OF YOUR CHILD BY ALL MEANS HIRE HER OTHERWISE, KEEP LOOKING!! This attorney did not do her job and listen to me, the client who pays her. She either was paid off by the other party or shes extremely negligent. She wont take your case seriously and learn the details, you won't get documents pertinent to your case until too late, she shows up unprepared, She tells you fluff and then drops the ball in front of the judge.

Communication is essential in legal matters which is obviously a rule Joyce Holcomb has not learned. She will never talk to you about your case, she will try and get you to plea out everything, and she refused to do any of my discovery. What kind of an attorney won't even assist her clients in collecting necessary information for their defense?? ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS....she is a typical attorney...she will treat you like a mushroom...keep you in the dark and feed you BU!!SH!!
